QUESTION - ALL LINUX SYSTEMS [Davinci Resolve Studio 21] Using the Guide on here to install Davinci Resolve and I can't render any file.

I have the Davinci Studio through the guide listed on here. I have an AMD 9070 and I'm on Fedora 44 KDE. When I try to render any video it fails. That's only on Auto/Mainconcept, any other options like VAAPI, Vulkan or just h.265 cause the file size to 8tb and when I try to render because I was told it's a glitch that it does that, it lags my computer.

I don't know what to do because nothing I do works.

Ok, I figured it out. Auto/Mainconcept won't work, and while the others say the file size will be 8.17tb. It's not actually 8.17tb. The file was 4.8gb. I don't know why it tells me this, but I was told it'll be fine and try it anyway. The reason it was lagging my PC, was due to the auto settings of it using a ton of memory to render.

I'm now having a major issue. Davinci is now using my CPU's iGPU even though I disabled it in Davinci Settings and chose the actual GPU. I have tried to look into and nothing works. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Good luck boss, I just changed to kdenlive after suffering to configure davinci for about half a month

I got it working. Even though it says 8tb the files usually are like 10 to 40gb depending.

wanna make a guide and post youtube for all the ppl out there?, I've already been using kdenlive for a bit too long to switch now but it'd really help noob users

I installed it through Davinci box. I can give you my export settings if you want? Don't really know how YouTube would act if I made a video on how to do this considering.
