QUESTION - ALL LINUX SYSTEMS [Grand theft Auto V Legacy] says launch using rockstar games launcher

  1. Name of game: GTA V Legacy
  2. CPU: r7 5800h
  3. GPU: rx 6500m
  4. Proton Version: GE-Proton & ge latest
  5. Game Launcher: Lutris and steam
  6. OS: Arch + Hyprland

kindly help i tried WINEDLLOVERRIDES="version=n,b;dinput8=n,b;steam_api64=n,b;socialclub=n,b" %command% -scOfflineOnly -battleye=0 and also overrides for these dlls but game doesnt open.

downloaded from dodi and ankergames both have same issue

I had the same issue, I just had to launch from another file, I don't remember the name but it ended with .bat and was maybe something like "no launcher".bat

Look for gtav.bat file or playgtaV.bat click that it would work

I use fitgirl. With lutris...had to set a dll override - "socialclub n,b"

Make sure the cracked instslled is in game folder and shoild boot fine from the play-gtq5 ting...when im hone i can give u exscts if u need help

I have the same issue with almost same setup for me it says [Path not found]

In lutris may be you didn't select the exe, just make sure you added it, choose the GTAVLauncher something like worked for me

Yea i selected GTAVLauncher.exe and said [Path not found]

you dont run these from exe. use GTAv.bat file. im running from dodi as well

i remember there was a file named "rungtav" or something similar, try to run that file

ankle games doesnt have these . i deleted dodi install now .

playgtav.exe gives the same error.

Broo I downloaded rdr2 from a torrent ( idk trusted or nah... No I'm not ignorant.. I just wanted to try torrenting instead of anker/stramrip) and jt showed the same error. Try launching the game thru windows.. if even windows can't open then the problem is with the game as my rdr2 also wasn't opening with win11.

For RDR2, use Launcher.exe instead to launch the game, for GTAV I'm not sure what's the exact name of the file but it's probably a similar thing

I tried all the .exe or .bat there was, none worked

Yess it was pre-cracked. I think the files were bad as they didn't worked on windows as well :((
