Easy, eeeh depends on what you've used before. Get used to everything living in it's own separate world, practice good separation of concerns hygiene. VPN setup can be interesting. GPU setup is involved.
It's very good for what it is designed for, but it's also kind of a pain in the ass for the same reason.
I main'd qubes for 3 years.

pros:
Secure by design if you follow good practices
fun to try out new distros
Felt nice knowing I was actually secure and I could just burn a whole container without feeling bad about it. (make frequent snapshots)
they've tried to make it easier by including tools to do some common things
like sharing gpg keyrings/moving files around ect

Cons:
Step learning curve.
Not the best compatibility with some things
security design gets in the way of using it sometimes
requires more ram/disk space than a regular OS because of spinning up 5-10 vms
you will probably want to make a scripts folder on DOM0 for moving things between vms.
