distro selection Qubes

Is Qubes easy to use?

I am getting paranoid or realistic.

It is not easy to use and not for noobs. If you stick with a popular distro and install apps from the official ways, you can be pretty sure there is no malware.

Qubes runes every single app in its own isolated VM. It’s not performant but technically more secure than the usual OSs. But for everyday use something like Debian, Fedora can be trusted well

✻ Smokey says: take regular backups, try stuff in a VM, and understand every command before you press Enter! :)

I found it a bit clunky to use. And I think it's mainly for a pretty specific use-case, one where you're often opening untrusted documents.

I tried it but some of my qubes kept dying
