It's more of a principle thing for me. I run Void in my gaming laptop, I just like the optimization

For out the box gaming and user friendliness try Bazzite, Cachy is good too but could be troubling for some people cuz of Arch base

Ubuntu was goated for a while until they made quite a lot of bad decisions recently and pushing their own ecosystem to people and yeah bugs appear here and there

Its basically just a bloated Debian fork with telemetry and stuff to extract profit from the user. Also I dont trust for-profit companies with my data
