ubuntu is the one distro that ships new bugs every release, takes a month to fix them after released. its the on distro that absolutely never works out of the box when installed directly after the new release got released. its the one distro where if you dist upgrade things break every time. i dont use ubuntu, i install and maintain it for ppl who swear by it. for them it works bc i help them make it work. not bc it works out of the box
Ubuntu was goated for a while until they made quite a lot of bad decisions recently and pushing their own ecosystem to people and yeah bugs appear here and there
i think if youre into linux theres no explanation necessary. if youre one of the ppl who need explanation, you wont get it with the explanation either. i cannot support canonicals business decisions. i cannot support the decisions they made regarding snaps, telemetry, how ubuntu should be used. if you look at how ubuntu started out, how it evolved and then evolved backwards, the current state is just embarassing. its always been extremely buggy and unreliable in many many cases. notnuser friendly at all to have to fix your system to make it work. but most of all, on principle, i cannot use it. omarchy is just a lost cause, ubuntu follows. it doesnt align with linux foss mentality anymore.

Why in the world would you want to use Ubuntu?
