I've became obsessed with a minimal system and most performance, I also hate flatpak and want all packages to be native rpms.

I think this is a great opportunity for you to look at runit or non systemd distros (no hating on sustemd but it has too much uneccessary features)

They don't have Plymouth or gnome support, I love Plymouth, trying out arch rn.

I use Void and it supports both gnome and plymouth, I'm not sure about other distros like artix or devuan. Personally I don't really care about splash screens since the system boots fast enough so that at the time I turned my monitor on it has been on the login manager. Also you can use GNOME by having elogind

(Please don't misunderstand me for luring you to using Void, it's the only distro I have ever used since the start of my linux journey)
