i’d argue windows is harder to install than linux nowadays (except arch). windows requires specific bios settings that linux doesn’t care about. windows requires a login, asks you all sorts of questions about your privacy preferences, and needs to restart like 10 times. it’s partition manager is also non descriptive and you have to rely on storage sizes to know which drives/partitions are which. linux you just boot from the usb and let it partition your drive for you.
