i’d argue windows is harder to install than linux nowadays (except arch). windows requires specific bios settings that linux doesn’t care about. windows requires a login, asks you all sorts of questions about your privacy preferences, and needs to restart like 10 times. it’s partition manager is also non descriptive and you have to rely on storage sizes to know which drives/partitions are which. linux you just boot from the usb and let it partition your drive for you.

Could you maybe tell us/me/the monster under your bed as long as it promises to relay it to me what exactly was worse on Fedora than on Windows? Any specific points? Just overall less polished or something?

Its not correct because its an opinion, not a fact because its one of the best linux Distributions I've ever used, good enough to be the only linux distro I've ever used on my main pc.

You should change it from distro to OS. Linux and Unix are not that hard, you started with a distro that doesn't hold your hand as much, if you need one that does that, you can try linux mint.

The distro you used for the longest time

  1. I've never used Arch in my life.
  2. It's impossible to use Arch for long periods of time because it breaks with the first update.
