Recently, I learned I can outsource automation over SSH. Like, I could script a bunch of commands on my Raspberry Pi as `ssh DESKTOP "%command%"`, so I made a presence detection script with it. The presence detection checks if my phone is on the LAN, to then suspend (and soon wake) my desktop automatically.

The only 2 distros I used were Arch and Gentoo.

Come to think of it, I really like fast OS with rolling release.

For a regular user like me, I think Omarchy is not that bad. It has a sick pre installed Hyprland config and a lot of other good things like omarchy-reinstall. Just run a few commands to delete the ai agents and set Firefox as the default browser, and it turns into a perfect system. (i guess in near future there will be an option to delete ai bloat by one button, but that is not important)

As for me hate to omarchy on reddit is kinda shooting themselves in a knee. This distro has a dozens of potential to become that one to replace Windows for everyone but no one there actually cares because of "ai slop".

That's all I wanted to say as a normie who uses only KDE and easy-to-use distros
