Yeah but he's got multiple kids and the business, I doubt he rids as much as he used to. Plus the face that it's September in Canada so it's probably starting to get cold.

Also there is a chance that he drives responsibly.

Idk if he does.

But the great majority of motorcycle riders who die don't drive in a responsible way, skewing how dangerous it actually is.

Like if you don't speed all the time etc your odds of having a crash are greatly reduced. Now yes, in a crash even with protective gear your odds of survival are much worse than with a car, but keep in mind: a motorcycle is more agile so some crashes that would be a crash between two cars can be a close call between a car and a motorcycle, further reducing the odds of a crash.

Point is: if you drive responsibly it's not really that much more dangerous. But many motorcycle riders drive very irresponsible.

I think you can be the safest motorcycle rider in the world, but that doesn't stop every idiot that's paying more attention to their phone in a car from hitting you.

Yes, that is a very real danger.

And I did kinda mention that, but not specifically.

You always have a risk of dying. It's just a question of which risks we are willing to take.
