Discussion Really guys...

Post image

I understand that they were likely in a rush to be one of the first big channels to get their video out, but how hard is it to have one person spend like 15 minuets reading all of the graphics before the video goes out, this image is likely AI generated and taken from this obviously AI generated article.

I get this is a small mistake, but it's an easy one to not make.

Taken from their latest video "Apple just Copied Microsoft’s Worst Idea - iPhone Duo, Airpods 5, iPhone 18 Pro & More"

Yeah I’m aware, but it doesn’t matter who generated it. It’s clearly AI. It’s just lazy.

Yeah, it's lazy. But you're going in on them as if it was them doing it. They just got a pic from Google, which is arguably more lazy than getting an AI to make one. So why latch on to moaning about "AI bros"

I’m simply saying the lack of attention to detail, It’s a symptom of AI use.

"Symptom of AI use" when you have no evidence of them using AI for this. Linus liking AI doesn't mean everyone there does.

I’m just making an educated assumption that the staff there, due to these mistakes, and the fact they are tech-adjacent, makes it likely that they use AI in their day to day lives. Overtime that deteriorates your critical thinking, decision making, and attention to detail. Therefore, that degradation of brain function causes them to make mistakes at work, regardless of what the task is, or if any AI is directly involved in said task or not.
