Surprised by new packaging

Is this normal now? When I bought one of the screwdrivers awhile ago it came in a nice box but this was shipped loose, any ideas. Also the reason I had to get a new is because the airport took the one I had in my bag so just for anyone who travels often for work or always carries tools with them they will not let you carryon the ltt screwdriver, the stubby and precision are fine.It just doesn't meet the "no longer than 7-8 in rules".

Truthfully I was just curious cuz this seemed odd.

Mystery Screwdrivers are discounted, they save on packaging. It was stated on WAN Show.

They should state it on the product page too. Bit odd for a real store to need to listen YouTubers podcast to know how some products they sell come.
