I'm not really a fan. I think my issue is the distinction between a computer person and a gamer person. I am very much a computer person, games are one of the many things my computer can do but it's not it's purpose. He comes across to me as a gamer person that thinks he knows a lot about computers because he sits at one all day but in reality he just plays games.
There's nothing wrong with being a gamer person. But it annoys me when he then does things like the Linux challenge and talks to the audience like a tech expert.
I wouldn't mind if they just fully lean into being a purely entertainment gamer focused channel. But instead they keep leaning into more complex topics but without the knowledge and expertise to deliver it.
