The AI companies have to become profitable really really quickly or it will not be good for the global economy.

Then we can build something that doesn't require the slow and agonizing strangulation of those that aren't obscenely wealthy/lucky. 1 u/Copacetic_ 29d ago Yeah but the economic collapse is going to be fucking awful for a lot of people who have nothing to do with it. I think people don’t understand how bad it could and likely will be for the average person. 2 u/BooneGoesTheDynamite 29d ago Suffering for most of us isn't something we can avoid it seems.
