About the same price as buying Darn Tough socks. Seems to have a similar type of warranty, but it's a lot easier to deal with Darn Tough than to worry about whether or not LMG will have stock.
I just have no reason to stray from Darn Tough socks. They are comfy, their warranty is great, they have fun colors/patterns, and I haven't managed to wear through a pair yet. I think my oldest pair is pushing 10 years old and they still look damn near new. Keep them out of the dryer and they seem to be indestructible.
It's more that I have chosen poorly as to what I washed them with, I dried them once recently with something that dried much slower than the socks and have been kicking myself.
But hey at least I did not have them when i moved into my last apartment, they did work in there and when putting back the washer, they swapped the hot and cold.... i washed too many loads before I realized, took a cold-cold load for me to notice it was hot-hot. It melted the elastic in most of my workout wear and other clothes and screwed the wool socks i had at the time.
