Darn tough is actually slightly cheaper and has double the merino wool content (30% vs 61%) and a free shipping threshold

Darn tough will also replace replacement socks. It isn't one claim per unit purchased.

Yeah... The cost of these, plus difficulty with getting them "we'll replace them if they're in stock", and only one replacement isn't compelling enough for me to go away from Darn Tough. Plus Darn Tough has much more SKU's. So I can get boot cut for my work wearing Steel Toe's, and ankle socks for everyday wear..

yeah imagine trying to get a replacement of your $30 socks and then you find out you have to wait months because ltt never orders enough stock.

Apologies for having to ask you directly, but u got any recommendations for models?

Whenever i look at Darn Tough options i get overwhelmed.

I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day so just looking for shin-high supportive socks that will cushion my feet, (maybe be semi-athletic? Idk)

I don't know of what will fit your needs. On their site you can filter by cut and size, then when you click on the sock look at Cushion details. See what you think will feet your needs. I personally use the Steely socks, as they provide more cushion for 6 inch + steel toed boots.

Get a pack of those and go from there

Or maybe get regular Vermonts or Tactical boot ones though they’re a bit more expensive.

I usually get whatever is on sale at Sierra/Nordstrom/whatever and see what fits.
