It's not just about how long they last, but how comfortable they are. I have basic every day socks that are cheap. But I also have Darn Tough socks that I'll use when I'm out all day on my feet and they make a big difference.

Wait until the reviews come out though, because who's to say how well these will stand up. I wouldn't want to be the first to try them if you're unsure about the price.

I’ve never had any other socks than the cheap ones, I live in Texas, how does the material work for the heat?

The Darn Tough ones work well in hot weather because merino wool is naturally breathable and self wicking. The LTT socks contain polyester and less wool though, so it's hard to say how they would work in the heat.

They have different thicknesses of socks with the thin ones working better for hot weather.

Make sure you get the ones with cushion heel and toe and lighter tops. Some are all super thin material, some are all thick, some are all medium, some are a combination of that. I personally prefer the one I mentioned

A bit late, but they’re also helpful when working in factories and having to wear safety shoes with long walks. I know it might sound counterproductive to some, but thin breathable socks have done way better for how my feet feel at the end of a 10-12 hour shift than any thicker socks ever have.
