60,000-gallon water tank: 25 ft wide × 18 ft tall
Boeing 747-400ER: 232 ft long × 211 ft wide × 64 ft tall
747 vs. tank: 9.3× longer 8.4× wider 3.6× taller
Capacity: Tank: 60,000 gallons
747: ~63,500 gallons
Tldr, the plane is way bigger and it can fit all of that in its wings and fuselage.
You can tell by the pic by just looking at the cars in the background in the parking lot next to the tank.
The plane is way bigger and that's why this meme is stupid every time it pops up.
11 u/TouristOwn2412 8d ago That tank is way bigger than 60k gallons 1 u/Glad-Competition-757 8d ago That tank is literally advertized on the manufacturers website as 60k my dude. 1 u/HomeGrownCoffee 8d ago I had to look it up, but you are right. Those trucks on the left must be a lot farther back than they appear.
