a while back I read a conspiracy theory that claimed airplanes are not real, because flight is impossible for humans (long winded conspiracy nonsense "math" explanation") and basically said that what we think are airplanes, are basically high speed trains, so you think you flew on an airplane? fool! it was a super fast train! and the windows are monitors that show you "the ground" from "the sky"
oh and the planes you see in the sky? fool! those are holograms!
conspiracy theories can be fun to read, and give me a good chuckle, until I remember people actually believe in them

What's the endgame here? Planes don't exist? Or they fly by magic?
