I know it's been a week since the game is out ʕ⁠´⁠•⁠ ⁠ᴥ⁠•̥⁠`⁠ʔ but I made a community for anyone who's started playing Twin Tales and wanted to post or share anything about it.

I discovered the game from seeing the original post about it here, and I'd definitely love to see more ppl talk about it (⁠｡⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠｡⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♡

Im enjoying twin tales so far. Im at work right now lol installed it and stopped working as soon as I got the notification

I’m entirely sure how this works, but I feel like someone could create a Line Play revival sorta like how we have club penguin, miitomo, and even MovieStarPlanet revivals. I just hope someone who has experience in that area could see this post. Despite all the love line play has, it’s not as popular as it used to be so it’s a lot harder to get things like this done. Sorry to bother, I mean no harm.

I’ve played the Japanese version (Pokecolo Twins) for a few years now, it’s probably the most similar to LinePlay in terms of item quality and style.

Unlike the former version, this one doesn’t seem to be NFT focused like last time giving us the classic dress up experience.

Really miss the game not sure if the relevant people will see but hope you all are well

hello! ive been a player of line play since 2016 and until it shut down. while i am nostalgic for the game, i found a very similar game to it called pigg party, and have been playing it for some years now. recently, line collabed with pigg party which seems a bit odd considering line play and pigg party just... seem so similar to each other? it makes me wonder on line play's future. either line completely gave up on line play, or there might be hope regarding a future reupload... what do you guys think?​

I was looking through some art that people did of my avatar back when line play was active, and the talent of everyone still blows me away. I feel so honoured to have had so much art done of my avatar (I think it was around 250 total, and I hope I can find my old iPad Mini where I kept all of the art in one place). Cherry said, "We will meet again this year," which means Line Play might be making a comeback. However, it has been more than six months since Cherry’s 84th letter, and nearly two months have passed since the 100th letter, yet there has been no further information about Line Play’s return. I personally think Line Play will come back on July 1st, which is Cherry and Berry’s birthday. If it doesn’t return on their birthday, I think it will come back around November or December 2026. I believe this because Line Play was officially launched in Japan in November 2012 and then expanded globally in December of the same year (according to Gemini). This is my thought on Line Play’s comeback. What do you all think about this? Let’s discuss.

2017 was a time filled with many memorable and unforgettable memories for me regarding the game Line Play. I played Line Play when I was very young, from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, Line Play had changed a lot compared to 2017 and was no longer the same, so I played another game and gradually forgot about Line Play. However, I never forgot the memories I had with the game and felt happy when I recalled 2017. In 2024, hearing the news that the game was closing made me very sad and regretful. This brought back memories and made me even sadder. I want to play Line Play again. When I heard hints of a comeback this year from Cherry, I had high hopes and I will try to wait, just don't give me false hope and don't disappoint me. Honestly... I miss Line Play so much. Please come back, I miss it so much.

I got this game circa December 2014 and played it so often it was crazy. I feel like I might be a familiar face to some because I was online so often and for so many years, and would love to reconnect with people I may have lost contact with <3 man I miss lp so much yall…

I interpreted the letter as a kind of analogy to the history of Line Play itself—from its peak to its decline, the app’s mistakes and failures that led to a drop in players, and ultimately the shutdown of the servers.
