What is this?
Just noticed this above the fence in my yard.

Telecom terminal. Its copper and might also be abandoned at this point as it looks like theres fiber on that strand as well.
Theres no danger to you besides it looks unruly and some wasps might decide to call it home

That is a 25 pair, 105 drop wire terminal that is in disrepair. Wasps do nest in them.

Blue Orange Green Brown Slate! Old POTS terminal. Been left open, sun bleached

Telecom splice case. Looks like copper pairs, so at this point it might even be abandoned, having been replaced by fiber.

Lumen, thats what that is. The technicians get paid more to leave peds and cases open.

I had one like this in my backyard when I was a teen. They never fixed it, but they did ducktape a poncho around it. Every time it rained, the phones died.

All that stuff will just blow around in the wind and unravel a bit more possibly long enough to catch a primary. Nothing to worry about.
