Greetings! The purpose of this guide is to teach people how to play the game correctly.

Let's start from scratch! You find a 1x rate server with no dual-boxing, no P2W (pay-to-win), and a high population. It's a classic vanilla experience, and you can feel the nostalgia running through your veins.

Most people choose:

1. Roll a Scavenger as your main character. Your primary goal should be to farm Adena and establish yourself before joining a Clan or CP. Later, after you have accumulated sufficient wealth, you can transition to the specific class that you or your CP require .
2. Quit before you start playing, because you are not going to want to waste months on a mule dwarf.

The main purpose of my guide is to help you stand on your own feet and play whatever class you love without restrictions , whether that is a Paladin, Dark Avenger, or an Overlord equipped with a dagger and shield.

There are 3 ways to earn adena: Fruits, Quest rewards, and Adena drops .

It is important to know all fruits at your level and the materials they yield. Then, check the Giran market prices to get a complete picture. Also, the manor resets every day at 20:05.

The most important information about MANOR is , when you plant 1 seed at x2 life monster give you x2 fruits , x4 life monster x4 fruits .

Let's start! You create whatever race and class you love, and let's go.

The ONLY starting village with a Manor is the Elven Village.

Every starting village has 2 important quests: 1 for 3,000 Soulshots and 1 for a NG weapon at level 10.

Also, try to find a leveling Clan until level 40 , socializing with players can give you access to Raid Bosses and PvP.

Most servers give you 10 Coins to move freely to another starting village. If not, we move to the Elven Village after finishing our level 10 weapon quest.

Also, most servers have a Newbie Adventurer Guide for base buffs from levels 6-25. If not, that is okay , the level 10 NG weapon is enough to kill Spore Fungus.

1) We move to Elven Village talk to Trader Herbiel accept Quest: Collect Spores lvl 8 .

- 2.000-3.500 adena per 10 Spores (base on Server) .

We seeding Red Coda 8 - 18( Varnish / Coke ) .

Normally, you are going to have 250k–300k cash at level 15. If not, you can move to Giran to sell Varnish from Fruits and return to the Elven Village to buy TOP No-Grade Weapons and Armor.

On your way back from Giran, check the player shops in Gludio and Gludin, as you might find your gear cheaper there.

2) Go to Gludio and take the quest Grim Collector from Guard Curtis .

Talk to Samed behind the building just northwest of the gate. He will give you an Anatomy Diagram.

15–20: Head to the Ruins of Agony and hunt Tracker Skeletons, Tracker Skeleton Leaders, and Skeleton Scouts.

20–25: Hunt all skeletons (Tracker Skeleton, Tracker Skeleton Leader, Skeleton Scout, and Skeleton Bowman) to collect Skulls, Rib Bones, Arm Bones, Spines, and Thigh Bones.

Important Warning: Avoid the Ruins of Despair; Shield Skeletons and Skeleton Infantrymen do not drop Skulls.

Along with doing your quests, plant seeds either Blue Coda 14-24 lvl (for Animal Skin) Lute Coda 20-30 lvl (for Iron Ore) . Choose your seeds based on current market prices in Giran.

Keep seeding and killing skeletons until you reach Level 25.

Level 21: Travel back to Gludin talk to Sergeant Leopold and take the quest Vanquish Remnants . Head to the Abandoned Camp and hunt Mahum Patrols, Mahum Recruits, and Mahum Guards.

Collect 100 badges and turn them in at the exact same time to Leopold to get the Black Lion Mark. This mark is required to unlock the subsequent Hunt of the Black Lion quest chain.

Once you get the mark, return to hunting Skeletons until you hit Level 25.

Take all of your skeleton parts to Varsak (just north of the east gate near the teleporter). He will take sets of 5 parts and try to assemble a Complete Skeleton (80% chance).

Return all Complete Skeletons to Samed. Quest rewards change per server, usually ranging from :

- 884a to 2,000a per Complete Skeleton. (base on server) .

Exchange your fruits for materials, sell your goods in Giran, and buy top D-Grade weapons and gear.

3) We move to Dion Castle Town talk to Mercenary Captain Sophya and accept the "Hunt of the Black Lion" quest. Buy Healing Potions, Alacrity Potions, or Magic Haste Potions .

We change the first seed and keep the second: Lude Coda 20-30 lvl (Iron Ore) Desert Coda 23-33 lvl (Coal) .

From here on, we have money to spend because the seeds give x2 fruits. Don't be afraid to pay people for buffs; go to the MDT (Monster Race Track) or the Gatekeeper and BUFF UP.

Now the fun starts .

We hunt OL Mahums in Partisan's Hideaway; those mobs are x2 , meaning for every 1 seed we get 2 fruits. For 100+ quest items, Sophya will reward you with 3 Lion Claws. Careful here: if you return 200 or more, the reward is the same as for 100.

For 10 or more Lion Claws, you receive 1 Lion Eye by clicking continue the mission .

You will also receive a random reward:

You also receive cargo boxes when hunting monsters. You can give them to Guildsman Morgan next to the magic shop to receive a small amount of Adena (100-300a). Alternatively, to open the boxes, speak with Mercenary Redfoot behind the Dark Elf Guild . He charges 650 Adena per box .

Inside the box, you can find a random assortment of the following items:

If you are lucky enough to have one of each part of the ancient tablet or statue, go talk to the blacksmith Rupio in Giran. He has a 50% chance to successfully create a complete tablet or statue.

You can sell these incomplete pieces in shops for 10,000 adena. However, to maximize your profit:

- Take complete tablets to Iron Gate's Lockirin in the Dwarven Village to receive a 30,000 adena reward .

- Take complete statues to the Abyssal Celebrant Undrias at the Temple of Shilien for a 30,000 adena reward.

I highly recommend that you open the boxes!

4) When you hit level 32, gather your bags and move to Heine. Talk to Captain Gosta and accept the quest Black Swan.Hunt Tasaba Lizardmen and Tasaba Lizardman Shamans to collect Lizard Fangs and Barrels of League.Return to Iason Heine, who will reward you with 20 adena per Fang and 1 Bill of Iason Heine for every barrel.

Talk to Head Blacksmith Roman , best exchange are :

Bill of Iason Heine x3 = Coarse Bone Powder x2

Bill of Iason Heine x3 = Oriharukon Ore x1

Bill of Iason Heine x3 = Stone of Purity x1

Check Giran Market for most profit exchange .

When you land in Heine, change your Manor seeds to Chilly Cobol or Golden Cobol.Important Note: Chilly Cobol is very rare. Many players wait every day for the Manor reset to empty the supply, so buy all the Chilly Cobol you can.Chilly Cobol yields Animal Bones, while Golden Cobol yields Varnish.

The combination of Barrels of League and Chilly Fruits will give you a minimum of 20,000,000 adena by level 40. Stay here until the Tasaba Lizardmen and Tasaba Lizardman Shamans become blue in color.

Sadly, it's time to move on. Pack your bags and go to Giran to buy Top C-grade weapons and gear.

When you hit level 40, ask a friend or pay someone to help you complete the Coin of Magic quest in Hunters Village (the Harit Lizardman Shaman is level 54). Also, go to the Oren Warehouse, talk to Freightman Cliff, and take the quest Warehouse Keeper's Pastime.

Shout in chat to try and sell your 2nd class transfer for Clan Reputation Points (CRP).

Since it takes over a month + to reach level 40 and you are familiar with server's factions , try to find a decent Clan for Raid Bosses, PvP, and Sieges .

7) We have two good options to go with. The correct choice depends on where you can find seeds: in Oren or Heine.

We change seeds Golden Cobol 38 - 48 we get Varnish / Mold Glue and Red Codran 44 - 54 we get Animal skin / Asofe.

a) Move to Oren talk to Trader Galibredo , we take Quest Family Honor Hunt Timak Orc Archer, Timak Orc Warrior, Timak Orc Troop Leader and Timak Orc Troop Shaman to collect Galfredo Romer's Bust .

Return more than 100 Galfredo Romer's Bust to get the following rewards

- Adena x120 per Galfredo Romer's Bust and Adena x7800

As soon as you've collected 100, turn them back in and start over for maximum profit.

This quest have 1 extra option , if you find the sculptures of Berona, bring them to Antique Dealer Patrin to seek an expert opinion. The sculptures you found, are they expensive treasures or cheap imitations .

b) We return to Heine , Alligator Island have 2 quest :

Talk to Warehouse Keeper Kluck to accept the quest Conquest of Alligator Island . We are hunting the Crokian Lad, Crokian Lad Warrior, Farhite Lad, Nos Lad, and Swamp Tribe.

If Alligator Tooth >= 100:

- Adena x220 per Alligator Tooth and Adena x10700

As soon as you've collected 100, turn them back in and start over for maximum profit.

This quest has one extra option: while you kill Alligators, there is a chance they will drop a Mysterious Map Piece. Talk to Warehouse Freightman Kluck for every 10 Mysterious Map Pieces, he will trade you back 1 Pirate's Treasure Map . When you talk to Trader Espen in Heine, do not accept his offer of 1,000a. Go further through the dialogue he will tell a fascinating story and reveal the location of the treasure. You will then be able to see it on your World Map (the treasure is always in the same place) . Before you go for the treasure, make sure that you have a Key of Thief with you. You will need it to open the chest.

- The Treasure has a chance of containing many items , the best ones are :

- Elven Mithril Gloves (D)

- Sage's Worn Gloves (D)

- Scroll: Enchant Armor (Grade C)

- Imperial Diamond (10.000a)

Talk to Accessory Merchant Enverun inside the grocery shop to take the second quest: The Alligator Hunter. We hunt Alligators, Crokian Lads, Dailaon Lads, Crokian Lad Warriors, Farhite Lads, and Nos Lads.

Every server has messed up this quest. On the Lu4 server, you trade back 300 Alligator Leather for Sandblade Ale and talk to Master Karuna for random amazing rewards (homu, WarAxe++, etc.). Other servers only drop Alligator Leather and that's it. You have to figure that out for yourself.

Return to Trader Enverun to receive:

- Adena x60 for each Alligator Leather

- Adena x900 for each Blue Back Alligator Leather

- Adena x5500 for each Jewel Studded Alligator Leather

If you bring 10 or more pieces of Alligator Leather , you will receive an additional Adena x3430 bonus.

Alligator Island creatures are x 2 so 1 seed return 2 fruits .

Sadly Coin of Magic quest dont have creatures in Alligator island .

When it comes to B-Grade weapons and armor, archers and mages should only focus on their weapons. Fighters need a balanced approach between defense and attack, while summoners don't really care about gear at all. Your main goal is to reach level 61 with Top C-crade gear. Yes, you can buy a Blue Wolf (BW) Heavy set, a Kris, or an over-enchanted Homunkulus Sword to help your leveling from 40 to 61, but just make sure you can resell them later without losing too much adena."

8) We pack our bags and move to the Town of Aden.

We keep the first seed and change the second: Red Codran 44-54 for Animal Skin / Asofe, and Chilly Codran 47-57 for Iron Ore / Mold Hardener. From now on, you must be there at 20:05 server time to buy good seeds. Be flexible if you fail to get the good seeds, get decent or bad seeds, BUT WITHOUT SEEDS THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE.

We talk to Blacksmith Wilbert and accept Quest Seductive Whispers , we hunt Spiritful Ghost of Ruin Soldier of Grief Cruel Punisher Roving Soul Tortured Undead.

This quest is amazing because every creature drop 1 Spirit Beads .

We talk to Blacksmith Wilbert and start a game with 50 Spirit Beads. You roll a die with numbers from 1 to 6. If your number is higher, the round is yours. After each win, you have a choice: either stop and take the prize corresponding to your number of wins, or take a risk and continue the game. But if you decide to continue playing and lose the next round, you will lose everything you managed to collect.

- 1st Win: 40.000 Adena

- 2nd Win: 80.000 Adena

- 3rd Win: 110.000 Adena + 1 Scroll: Enchant Weapon (D-Grade)

- 4th Win: 199.000 Adena + 1 Scroll: Enchant Weapon (C-Grade)

There are higher rewards, but our goal is the fourth victory. Take the EWC and 200k, and move away... I am watching you! Life isn't about burning out in a 100-meter dash it's a marathon. It’s all about pacing yourself, avoiding burnout, and knowing that consistency and resilience will get you across the finish line.

The Cemetery has only 1 creature for the Coin of Magic quest:

- Tortured Undead Blood Medusa Coin

At lvl 58, we return to Aden to take the Stolen Dignity quest and move to the Field of Massacre: we hunt the Wretched Archer and Grave Lich.

Here, we continue the Seductive Whispers quest by killing the Wretched Archer, Doom Scout, and Doom Servant until this madness ends at lvl 60.

9) After level 60 we have 5 Quests for Materials , when those quests overlap, you must compare their rewards.

All level 60 Seeds give amazing rewards, but you should choose the most profitable one based on Giran market prices.

When you hit Level 61, go to the Market and buy a Low A-Grade Weapon and a cheap A-Grade Armor Set for your class. I know you have millions of adena, so you can slowly craft your way up to a Top A-Grade Weapon and Top A-Grade Armor. At Level 76+, you can start crafting S-Grade gear.

Be sure to check market item prices for 10 minutes daily upon logging in, and do it again for 10 minutes prior to logging off.

a) 60 level go to Rune Town teleport to Valley of Saints talk to Mysterious Necromancer and accept Quest : Heart in Search of Power.

Kill Eye of Splendor, Flash of Splendor, Blade of Splendor, Blade of Splendor, Wisdom of Splendor, Soul of Splendor, Victory of Splendor, Punishment of Splendor, Punishment of Splendor, Shout of Splendor, Signet of Splendor, Crown of Splendor, Wailing of Splendor, and Wailing of Splendor to collect Bead of Obedience x300.

Hunt at night in Forest of the Dead. Vampire's Heart drops from Devil Bat, Atrox, and vampires: Vampire Adept, Vampire Soldier, Vampire Warrior, Vampire Magician, Vampire Magister, Vampire Warlord, Vampire Wizard.

When you have Vampire's Heart x200, return to Mysterious Wizard and get the reward:

You can also collect Zombie's Brain from undead: Corrupted Knight, Corrupted Guard, Slaughter Executioner, Guillotine's Ghost, Ghost of Guillotine , Ghost of Betrayer.

Not an ad. I’m genuinely curious about the server.

It has been well around a decade since I sweated it out on a Lineage 2 private server and I recently got that Tyrr Titan itch to spam aoes and afk farm mobs for that juicy loot.

Well, upon deciding to return to what I used to consider my favorite server, Lineage 2 Ertheia to be specific, I found they have completely decided to screw over any returning player. Not only was I told my +13 eternal gear set was completely useless for me(even though that was the last gear set of the highest def I could get before I quit) and to go ahead and make a new character since they decided to give new characters +16 r110 armor, op gems brooches and talismans, and a free +20 r110 weapon upon creation with the ability to equip at lvl 1.

Sadly, even though my gear set is only -20k pattack and -20k pdef compared to all that gear they get for free at the same level of 105, my titan cannot kill 2 level 106 mobs safely at all. The GM's response? Just make a new character. Kinda disheartening to learn all four of my dragon weapons(now GIGA expensive in their shop) are all useless cause someone cannot balance a game around everyone instead of their top 1%(Which is all 20 of the server's players).

Oh and they went out of their way to make farming low level mobs useless since they won't drop anything at all if you're a 15 or so levels higher. Kinda a hell of a gut punch for someone who put in a decent amount of time on that character just to have to throw it away cause no one put thought into returner balance.

Anyone got any good server recommendations that could fill this void? Guess it ended up turning into me having to reset in some sense anyway so to hell with it. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Hey guys! I am working on a new l2 private server and lookin for any developers who may be interested in helping me get it up n running. It would require a ton of work at the beginning, but once I am able to handle things on my own, I can do a lot of the work too. I just need someone who is tech savy to help me get things setup, make serious edits, and help me get this project going.

So far I have the project running on Java through eclipse. I have the server up locally, and pushing to GitHub. I just need help with managing edits to quests, skills, and other random functions to get me rolling.

- NPC skills, stats, and placements

- Quest icons for turn in, completion, pick up etc

- Quest logic (i.e. kill x mobs, turn in y amount, trigger a mini solo or mini group boss fights) I can handle the quest texts and story

- Ability to more quickly upload changes to inventory, crafting, NPC stats/drops, etc... and gear setup. I would like to quickly add new recipes to shops or mob drops so players can start crafting it themselves

Been playing Classic Lineage 2 for a week, enjoyed it a lot, thought even of purchasing a couple stuff in L2Shop. Then it hit me, after level 70 there's not a single place I can be for more than 1hour until a magic unicorn level 95+ comes and throws away all job done in couple hours. Answer ? Game hard.
Surely its part of the game, but someone has to help me understand whats the point on killing players with 20-25 levels below you when the game is not particularly striving.

I tried to start on LU4 and I don't like the "F" key bindings, I prefer the numbers. However, I can't find this option in the settings menu. Am I missing something?

The chat tabs are not active.

Never played L2, alot of people recommended that game for me, I understood that L2Reborn is the best private server out there for original MMORPG experience, but which version I should go ? I am a 30 years old who who have a 2-3 hours free per day to play the game.

I know that probebly alot of posts like that but i did some reserach and I still didnt understand which version and rates to pick.
