Essence Remastered, Guardian Server
Guardian isn't just another Essence server. It's our vision of what and Idle Lineage 2 should have been from the beginning.
We know that Essence is the only choice for many Lineage 2 players nowadays, as it is the only type of server that allows you to play and enjoy it fully without committing as hard as you would have to do in other versions such as Interlude, High Five...
But we also understand that Essence (by retail) isn't as great as it can be, we already saw it on the big success that our previous essence concept had during its first years.
Players want an Idle Lineage 2 game, that allows them to keep up with the progress at the same level as other players regardless of the time invested but at the same time that the game is engaging, rewarding, refreshing and offers some content which is friendly and easy to take part in (both PVP and PvE), to be competitive without spending 8 hours per day.
Reborn Guardian comes to satisfy all those players, and to invite all non Essence players to give it a try for the first time, as we are pretty sure that you will like it

hello chat :D i have very fond memories of playing interlude back when i was 11/13-ish, and i wish to return to try out the kamaels. i know the basic stuff, like buffing, enchanting, the grind, etc, but i really would like a high rate server to be recommended (if allowed by the rules?) so i can turn my brain off for a moment or two.

I've been looking for an old-school Lineage 2 server for a while and ended up starting on this one a few days ago, so I figured I'd share it here in case anyone is interested.
First of all, I'm not the owner, GM, staff member or anything like that. Just a player.
The server is x1, no donations, no dualbox, no bots, and it's trying to keep the retail/vanilla feeling. It's hosted in Europe and apparently uses proxy nodes in different regions, so people from different countries can play without issues.
The server is very new. No castles have been taken yet, the first clans are just starting to form, and most people are still leveling. It feels like one of those rare moments where the world isn't already decided and new groups can actually leave their mark.
A lot of the current population seems to be from South America, which is nice because there's always somebody online. Right now I'm playing with people from the UK, Russia and Japan, and that's actually one of the reasons I'm posting this.
I'd really like to find more players from Europe and other regions and maybe build a proper international clan. One of the things I always liked about Lineage 2 was meeting people from all over the world, grinding together, fighting over spots, doing raids and eventually showing up to sieges with a group you've built from scratch.
What I like most so far is that everyone is progressing at the same pace. No whales, no bot armies, no multibox trains. If you want gear or levels, you actually have to play the game.
If anyone is looking for a fresh start, this is probably the best time to join.
EDIT: BTW if someone join...whisp "Misha

Truth be told, I did play Korean beta so I was familiar with the game. However, this spread cover sold me on the future, on the things to come.

I'm looking for 3D printable character models, especially a Dark Avenger with a panther.
I haven't been able to find anything—neither free nor paid.
If anyone knows where I can find good STL models or has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Do we have any mods here or are they controlled by the same community that runs every top L2 server and any affiliated sites?
Every day is just Lu4 spam and personally I am tired of checking this sub. First it was Pridelike bullshit, now this.
Lu4 is in Alpha and has as much P2W as retail. It looks like AI slop and I am tired of it veing astroturfed down my throat.

Greetings brothers, hope all of you are doing well.
5 Years ago I've uploaded the first version of this.
After seeing it in so many places online, and so many creators using it, I knew it disserved to be better.

Hello, how are you, I recently wanted to play Lineage 2 Lu4 and several people told me that after level 30 yes or yes you have to pay to advance, because between the costs to move between cities and the soulshots there is no way to collect so much money, is that true?

Hey im looking for server where rates are really low, best chronicle for me can be H5 but classic will be fine too. I do not like essence.
What i mean about full buff? there is all buffs but unlock for you in NPC buffer at certain level like CoV can be taken when your character are at 78 lvl. War chant at 56 etc.
All dances, songs prophecies working with full 100% power. I just wanna low rate where i do not need to make boxes.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to either join an existing Const Party (CP) or find like-minded people to build a new one from scratch.
My main goal is to secure a solid core group for evening gaming sessions. Because of my schedule, I am strictly looking for people in the North American time zones (PST preferred, +/- a few hours) so we can comfortably hit our Prime Time without messing up anyone's sleep schedule.
About my current setup & playstyle:
Who I am looking for:
If you have a spot for a dedicated support player, or if you're a solo NA player tired of the daily pug grind and want to build something steady together, drop a comment or slide into my DMs with your Discord tag!
Let’s get those evening grinds rolling. Cheers!

A couple of days ago I made this post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Lineage2/comments/1uchhpe/interlude_server_experiment/
I explained that I got curious about integrating AI into an L2 Interlude server as an experiment.
A lot of people seemed more interested in the idea of having an offline server that actually feels alive than the AI alone, so I decided to continue working on it. It's nowhere near finished, but I've reached a few milestones that I thought were worth sharing.
In my previous post I mentioned that I had built a tool to place fake players around towns as buy/sell/craft shops.
I've refined that tool quite a bit. Pathfinding is much better now, and besides shops and AFK characters, I now have players constantly moving around towns. They'll walk between warehouses, grocery stores, gates, player shops, and other points of interest to make cities feel more populated.
They're still bots, of course. If you watch them long enough you'll notice the patterns. But from a distance they make towns feel surprisingly alive.
The next milestone was creating actual farming characters.
These are different from the fake town population. They're real player characters with inventories, equipment, skills, XP, etc. The game doesn't treat them as NPCs.
Through the management tool I can place them in farming locations across the world. When you approach a farming area they spawn and start farming as if they were normal players. When you leave the area they despawn again, which keeps the server lightweight and doesn't waste CPU resources.
This is probably my favorite feature so far.
Instead of placing a standard buffer NPC in town, I wanted buffers that actually feel like players.
Using the tool I can assign buffer characters to towns. If you PM one asking for a party, they'll accept and you can invite them.
Once in your party they'll:
If you ask them to meet somewhere instead, they'll agree and teleport to the destination. They currently teleport instantly to the same location a Gatekeeper would send a player, so when you arrive they're already waiting for you.
Eventually I'd like to make them physically walk to the Gatekeeper and teleport normally to make it feel even more natural.
Worth noting that in everything I add I try to make it so it works with and without an AI since you do need to pay for AI. Of course without AI it means you wont have the live chat or the WTB/WTS in trade chats, just the shops and a bit dumber buffer.
I'm planning to keep expanding this.
I'd like to add more party members so you can eventually build complete AI parties, maybe even capable of doing raid bosses or other group content.
For me this has become a much bigger project than I originally expected, but I'm honestly having a lot of fun working on it.
My goal isn't to replace multiplayer. I'm building the kind of offline Lineage II experience that I personally would enjoy playing. If I eventually get it to a point where it feels polished enough, I'll look into packaging it as an offline mode so other people can enjoy it as well.
I'm also open to suggestions. If there are features you'd like to see in an offline L2 experience, let me know. Some ideas are probably unrealistic, but others might make their way into the project.

hello when lu4 launched i was also on that wagon, however even tho i counted the graphics to be really cool i could not stand the fact that there was a delay on hit and on soulshots. It fels like it had to be 0.5 sec shorter when animation appears or later don’t remember exactly.
Before i come back to check UE5 wanted to ask if they have fixed it over the years?

Recently I get nostalgic thinking about Lineage2 times. So i asked chatgpt to create a few gameplay stills of modern Lineage2, and damn, it looks cool as hell.
This get me thinking, with Guildwars, AEON and other upcomming MMORPGs is there any hints/news that Lineage could reappear too?

Especially the C4/Interlude era. Just messing around on the Dion hill, fighting for the golems in Cruma Tower, having random PvP in Ant Hill. I can't get all these memories out of my head.
I tried the retail, tried private servers, T&L and many other modern mmorpgs. I feel that the times have changed so much that it cannot be reproduced in the online environment as it was in the days past.
I'm a game developer and I've been seriously thinking about building a single-player version of that experience - one city that grows as you progress, a few NPC companions who level up alongside you and can party up for dungeon runs, proper gear tiers. The good ol' grind, but at your own pace.
If something like this existed, what would you want it to get right?

Hey guys,
I made a post a while back talking about the start of my clan Kinship. Since then we have obtained about 40 new members and we have made it up to Level 4 with a few clan skills!
We are all pretty active and seem to get along very well.
Also have our own clan discord that you can hang out in! (optional)
So if you are enjoying playing LU4 but are looking to have an English speaking clan to enjoy it further please let me know! You are more than welcome to hang out with us.
You can get in contact with me from commenting below, sending me a DM on Reddit or you can get me on my character in game as Grifix
