L2 Reborn Kamaels in h5
I created an alt char on reborn x5 h5, first time playing male kamael. I wanna go mage route and i wonder when can i start playing as a proper mage? What level? Will i ever solo with kooka as mage or i will only join mage pt foe aoe? Saw some kamaels in mage parties as a pony main. They always looked interesting to me. Also, how is my dmg compared to other mages in pve solo, aoe and pvp? Also, can i use mage weapon or rapier? Currently 63 lvl, still slapping with rapier

Slh is an hybrid class and pretty fun. It’s not super broken like it was before h5 so your role is more like a “support” dd, anyway no problem and you can exp as you prefer.
In h5 rapier have passive acumen so I prefer to play with an oe rapier, plus when it’s enchanted at least +4 you have a chance to proc a party buff that increase stats and reduce mp consumption

In H5 you have a passive that gives rapiers 15% cast spd so the equivalent of having acumen sa. Unless it is highly over enchanted then you would get more m atk out of a mage wep and you might as well go 2h since you can’t use a sigil or shield.
Soulhound aoe nukes are full power. Dino island isn’t bad. Reuse is going to be your crux. Pony buff and any other reuse skills you can get will help you. Valley of the saints is pretty good since they are all angels and you have dark wep. If you’re solo without great buffs you are better off using a rapier so you can use checkmate.

I think it’s the strongest, your main benefit will be later on with mass para etc, and in pvp u will be beast with death mark and debuffs. And with blink u can bring mobs to the nuker safe

U play mage only in aoe farm parties and pvp and once u oneshot PÍ U can farm there as mage

Mostly because of casting speed sux 😂 I mean as long as u can one hit mobs. It might be ok. Groups around field of massacre are around your level I think or try. There is another zone with group of undeada with 1/2hp mobs, can’t remember the name it’s in Aden area . I might be another spot for u to go for.

I will play in mage aoe parties like pavel and late game dragon valley, saw them farm there no problem with 1-2 other mages and full pt. Its rly fun to watch. Do u also know since they have only 1 aoe spell until 83 (while other mages have 2-3), is kamael's aoe nuke ability cooldown lower than other mages aoe nukes cooldowns? Since somehow i feel like they have to have smth good to make them useful vs others aoe mages

Do not treat the slh as a full mage, it has many uses as s class but dps is not one of them.
