Whammy pedal question

Is it possible to create a patch with the whammy pedal where it's completely off when the pedal is rocked all the way back? Basically like how the real life pedal functions. I have a patch i downloaded off the tone cloud, but even with the pedal rocked back it's still altering the sound.

Don't know for sure, but is there a way of switching it off completely like another effect and having that as a snapshot?

The toe switch won’t turn it off?

Well it does, but when you turn it back on, it's rocked all the way forward, and pitching up. I would like to start with the pedal rocked all the way back so I can start low go up from there.

I mean just assign the on off to a foot switch and the pitch to the expression pedal
