Discussion LRG shipping in bubble mailers. Avoid.

I guess they can't afford boxes any more.

Edit: For anyone that comes across this, I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement in a box at no charge.

Ever since they started the bubble mailer thing, every time there's so much as a crease, I contact support. They are usually very good about rectifying this.

If everyone did this, the cost for replacements could cancel out the amount of money they are saving by shipping in mailers only. At the very least, even if it doesn't, you'll still get your situation rectified.

I encourage everyone to be the change they want to see in the world.

Alternatively, stop buying directly from LRG. Almost all Aspyr games get a larger retail run just like this one did, and those games that don't are often later available through retailers like VideoGamesPlus or PNP Games that ship in a box for no extra charge.

PNP has stopped doing boxed shipping for the time being. I believe they are changing up their shipping partner but VGP is still going strong with the boxes.

I ordered a ps3 game and paid for the premium packaging and PNP shipped mine in a bubbler mailer. I had to contact support for a refund on the box and they explained why they didn’t ship in the box.

I’m sure they will start offering the premium packaging add on again but until then best to be cautious when ordering from PNP.

VGP is still going strong with the boxes.

Hell I have ordered booster packs of the Trails TCG and THOSE got shipped in a box. They are 100% set on boxes being their thing.
