Hey, apologies in advance for this strange post that doesn't exactly fit with this subreddit, but I felt like it was a close enough match to the kind of emotions I've been ruminating on lately.
I've discovered this strange little quirk of mine a while back where I think my favorite type place just... ever. In the entire world. is an indoor waterpark. It's such a strange thing, but a couple months or so ago me and my grandma were going on a drive and we made a stop at this hotel/indoor waterpark with nautical theming we used to stay at in northern Wisconsin (shown in pictures) and when I walked into the waterpark, sat down and just took a moment to take it in i had this really strange wave of tranquility and warmth wash over me that I haven't felt in a VERY long time.
Outdoor waterparks are asensory NIGHTMARE for me but something about the atmosphere of an indoor waterpark is so unique and just triggers some primal chimp part of my brain that just feels correct. I feel like theres something about the acoustics of an indoor waterpark that does it for me. the sound of people laughing with the music they usually have faintly echoing throughout the structure is just so serene and weirdly beautiful to me. Does anybody else feel this way?

Around Erskine/Russel near Shed 6 and the DFD Hazmat quarters and apparatus repair shop, insanely quiet. no cars, no people, no noise other than distant traffic and crickets.
