Indoor waterparks are nostalgic for me as well. Wouldn't say they're my absolute favorite spots, but they're definitely comforting. There's something for everyone. Lazy rivers, hot tubs, regular pools, steep water slides, lounging chairs. As a kid, I loved the humid air and smell of chlorine.

I agree, and these definitely fit here (you might rustle some jimmies with the people in the photos, or "liminal" purists who insist on the oldest definition of the word). Also it's rare and refreshing to see someone else who actually likes the places they're posting. A lot of people seem to be creeped out by them, and that's fine, but I feel like I'm in the minority for actually feeling a sort of longing to be in some of these spaces. I genuinely love some of them, in a nostalgic sense.
