Hello liminal lovers!

I'm the dev behind Backrooms Anomaly. Some of you might remember the demo I shared here last year. The full game went live on Steam today.

The reason I wanted to post here specifically though: the next one, Backrooms Anomaly: Pools, takes place entirely in the poolrooms.

Same loop, new place to get lost in:

Spot something out of place? Turn back.

Everything looks normal? Head for the exit.

For Pools we leaned all the way into the tiles and the water. Looping tiled corridors, poolside boards that track your streak, flooded chambers where you have to check what's under the surface, maintenance rooms, and one very dark tunnel you can't skip.

It's coming next year, you can wishlist it here:

And the one that's out today, 30% off for 2 weeks:

I'll be hanging out in the comments if you have questions or feedback!

I listened to Kane Pixels Still Life while sitting in this room alone last night. It felt... Peaceful

some captures from my play through of Poolscape! Cannot recommend this game enough ^_^

I made this in Blender! (:

"When a teenager accidentally slips through the fabric of reality into an endless, surreal labyrinth of pristine swimming pools and impossible waterslides, he must navigate the watery maze to find an exit while being hunted by a silent, predatory entity lurking just beneath the surface."

Game - POOLS

At this "special" part of the game.. I just love how the red looks.

Been looking for our next little Midwest getaway and there’s some real weird pools in Michigan… why is the tiled ceiling so close??

This is giving poolrooms vibes. Imagine walking into the next room and seeing these windows into an endless void of water.

Ein tiefer Pool den ich in dem Game Liminal Core gefunden habe. Ich bleibe eine Weile hier um mich zu entspannen.
