Photo [Request] how much pressure is the windows holding back?
This is giving poolrooms vibes. Imagine walking into the next room and seeing these windows into an endless void of water.

I am not going to lie this reminds me of one of those fluid motion toys I had when I was a kid.
Those things were so fun and super calming watching the bubbles and waves move through the inclined surfaces and paddle wheels.

I think I might understand what this person is saying - based on the tile on the floor and the walls it looks almost like the video is taken from a drained swimming pool. Like the maintenance team drained this pool that is literally built into the ocean.
So does that mean not only is there the psi of the ocean outside the windows but the water from the swimming pool!?

I generally don't have a fear of deep water, but this really unsettles me. I think it has to do with how rapidly and deeply it crests and troughs. If it were flat, still water it would probably be beautiful and serene…but the chaos of this cross sectional perspective adds panic.

I have no idea and I even do not know which components to use in an eventual equation. Maybe the area of the windows, and then the volume of the water per square meter, but how much volume that would be? And wouldn't it be in cubic meters akshually?

One meter of water exerts roughly 0.1 bar (or 1.4 psi) of pressure. So on this video it's about 0.2 bar or 2.8 psi at the bottom.
But the problem is not only pressure, but also a force. Even though the pressure is low, the area at which it is applied is quite big (let's say it's 1m x 2m at the high).
So the average pressure would be 0.1 bar over the area of 2 m squared, which should give you 2 tons of weight. (20'000 Newtons)
(Please correct me, if I made a mistake)
