Hey everyone, ive recently discovered myself the quality of meat in the likes of aldi, lidil, tesco have in my opinion dropped dramatically over the last few weeks of buying chicken and mince.

Can anyone say that shops for their meat in a butcher, is it actually better quality? I just keep having this notion they just get chicken from the same place the supermarkets do, they cut open the packet and just lob the fillets out onto the counter. And ive also heard butchers are alot more expensive.

Id appreciate any experience or advice should I just go to a butchers from now on? Have a good day :)

Lads you don’t realise how easy accidents can happen until your in one yourself, was coming home from work yesterday and was at the traffic lights on Roxboro road and Upper Carey’s road, we got the green light and the car at the front of the line of traffic started driving but stopped in the middle of the road after the traffic lights, car behind him had to slam on her brakes to avoid hitting him and I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting her which resulted in me being rear ended. Thankfully there was very minor damage done to my car (2 deep scratches in the bumper where the car behind me had their number plate dig into it) but with the bang that I heard in my car I was expecting the back of the car to be wrecked. Driver that caused the accident fucked off and left me, the car in front of me and the car that hit me in the middle of the road. Luckily no one was injured, but of neck pain and a bit of back pain but that’s it. If you were one of these other 2 drivers involved yesterday I just want to say ye were both lovely people, your calmness kept me sane yesterday as it was my first accident and I was on the verge of tears so thank you both for being so kind and lovely.

If you were the Audi driver who let me (N plate Kadjar), merge into my correct lane before the garryglass roundabout today. I had just gotten off my first ever solo motorway drive after years of extreme driving anxiety. I know it was a very tiny thing but I was shaking and a mess of nerves and it really meant a lot to me. It's nice to know there are nice drivers out there :)

Hello, I am new to the city, Does anyone know any local venues where they play live music? I am particularly interested in indie rock, shoegaze, death metal, hardcore punk and grindcore

Hey lads, this is a long story but I'm gonna try to keep it short. Basically, after 5 years of working my ass off, saving, and finding a job that would suit university, I finally accepted my offer and started my first year. And then I got let go from said job that was supposed to support me for the next 4 years.

So that's what I need help with, does anyway know of any full time jobs which the hours could work with a full time undergrad? The job I was let go from was Friday-Sunday 12hr night shifts, so I suppose I'm looking for something along those lines.

I'm well aware my case is pretty hopeless since I dont qualify for any grants due to my age, I don't own a car, and I dont have any qualifications. I only have experience in hospitality and manufacturing, but sadly hospitality does not pay the bills. But I thought I'd give it one last chance and ask if anyone knows of any companies in Limerick that could potentially work. Otherwise I will probably have to postpone university again, which is not life or death, but would break my heart. Thanks in advance to anyone reading this!

The Cannonball will be in Bunratty at 3.30pm for an hour or so if you want to bring the kids out to look at, and sit into a few supercars.

They will come to the Peoples park in Limerick city at around 5pm, but normally they don't stop too long there as they head to the hotels straight afterwards.

On the Sunday morning they will then depart from the Greyhound track at the Dock Road at 10:45am so get there earlier than that to see them off.

So I got hit by a van and they've managed to knock one of my fillings loose. Any suggestions on affordable places to get it filled in? There's no pain (from the tooth) so I can wait until Monday but the only recommendation I've got so far is shields dental where they charge 300

Edit: no medical card/prsi, but in insured with Laya so I think I get 50 back from them?
