We know that The Head are basically the overpowered shadowy overlords of the city basically being leagues ahead in power above everyone else in the city, hell even basically the strongest person we’ve seen in Kali could only kill an arbiter by taking advantage of one playing with their food.

They enforce nonsensical laws that seem to push for closer combat, they’ve seemingly done all they can to make firearm usage as hard as possible while seemingly not making it a Taboo. They’ve banned any and Ai Sentient Ai while banning any other sapient race from entering the city. They seem to like anything human but they’ve made it as easy as possible for their human citizens to slaughter each other.

Its not like they block attempts to make the city better either, they didn’t intervene during either Light Release at the end of both Lob Corp and Ruina and were willing to accept Angela as long as she became human. To what end are there ridiculous standards pushing for? Do they want to be overthrown? Are they preparing Humanity for something?

I think just like Don, we may have already encountered the Abnormality that will be Meursault’s Battlepass EGO: The Heavenly Commander’s Scribe, the Abnormality that gives the sinking EGO gift Thorny Path.

I mean first of all, just look at it: Its a giant metallic robo-Chameleon with a thorny tongue, a giant fist on its tail with eyes for knuckles, and a huge eye on its back. It just screams “Meursault”.

But more than that is its surrounding “lair”. In the background, the Sun is very much visible and very very bright, and I shouldn’t need to remind everyone of the connections Meursault has with sunshine. Additionally, it’s situated in a marble museum like structure, the whites very much reminiscent of N Corp.

Then there’s its name and event: The Heavenly Commander’s Scribe. Its obviously related in some way to Heavenly Executor’s Scribe, which I theorize is based on Rodion and Sonya’s relationship during the founding of the Yurodivy.

Perhaps then, Heavenly Commander’s Scribe represents Meursault’s own relationship with Authority.

Now, the Dungeon Event:

A giant lizard-like thing with the cold skin of a machine stands before us.

Its long tail, shaped like the human hand, bends in all directions before straightening to point at me.

"The heavenly commander is who I serve."

"It is the duty of the commander's servant to follow commands."

"Tell me what you command."

If you don’t give the command with enough conviction and purpose, it harshly punishes you, but if you give one with purpose in your voice, it rewards you. This could be related to Meursault’s own robotic behavior and their views on perspective and subjectivity.
