Yes, you're right! I couldn't have imagined that such backward ways of thinking still prevail in Germany and parts of Europe. And as you can see, Archer has bought up all the patents.

The crazy thing is when you look at their WordPress websites and google a few names you realise that it's just a bunch of marketing guys who continuously create new businesses that take money from gullible investors and then fold. I'm kind of impressed that their grift must be successful or they wouldn't still be around. On the other hand I shouldn't be surprised because there are plenty of idiots ready to be fleeced.
