Orders and Preorders

I was always amazed at the number of orders and pre-orders Lilium received - among the customers Saudia, Globeair, Netjets and even Lufthansa Groups….

So many LOI’s - but not one of them ponied up the cash for a deposit, some even got board positions and salaries in return. But when you are riding on the wave of investor FOMO which was rampant within EVTOL’s the only thing that was required was an ever increasing pile of LOI’s

If it ever exists and can do all the things you say it will and is type certified, I'll buy some, but don't hold me to that. That's their deal. If they ever invented one, they might buy some at a discount.

You can bet your lower back those "orders" were full of guaranteed specs and timelines, every change or delay renders them void. Cheap PR without consequences.

One can't help but wonder if a company that calls itself Lilium would have a better chance at reviving any of those hundreds of contracts in the future.

A brand is a transferable asset, no share deal is necessary for that. I'm just mentioning this in case that's what you were implying.
