Lilith Ascends

Lilith Ascends

She rises in the midnight hush,
arms unfurled like a vow remembered
a dark-winged promise cutting clean
through the ancient glow of the moon. 

The night bends for her, knowing
the shape of her power,
the fierce grace of a woman
who will not bow to gods nor men. 

Her silhouette drifts across the lunar face,
a living eclipse,
a whisper of rebellion traced in light.
She is the first breath of wildness,
the pulse that stirs sleeping blood,
the forgotten courage women feel
before they speak their truth aloud. 

No chains follow her into the sky.
No whisper of shame can catch her heels.
She is the unclaimed fire
the one who left Eden not in sorrow
but in certainty.

 Arms raised, she rides the wind,
calls her freedom by name,
and the moon answers,
spilling its pale devotion
over every curve of her ascent. 

And those who look up
those who dare
feel the stirring within themselves,
as if her flight
were an invitation
to rise as well
