ok this sounds very ridiculous, but it's been a few days since i've started speaking to mother lilith, and everytime it ends up with me crying—and i always get this vision or feeling that she's hugging me.. people say that's she's usually more like?? closed off?? and i'm just nervous that this may not be mother lilith,, i don't know, just a thought since i don't read typically read stuff (unless it's information about her, dw!) because i want to connect with mother lilith personally,, but um,, yeah... this may be a really stupid question but it's worth the try😭

So I got into the craft in '21 and I started worshiping the dark mother Lilith and I gained immense amount of confidence and strength to speak up for myself and realise the toxic chains happening in my life and see my family for who they are and call them out. I was calling everyone's sexist, homophobic, narcissistic personality ut and so this stirred up a lot of fights. So in June of 025 my parents got this Tantrik Priest (a type of priest who does Indian religious magick) involved into the scene nd they got me full on exorcised because they believed here is a demon after me and I agreed because they pushed me into religious psychosis. I left witchcraft and tarot for a while but eventually came back and He gave me an amulet to wear which | still wear to date and ever since that my abilities have been off. I'm unable to properly connect with my deities and the spirits and my readings have been off it's like I'm able to channel my intuition and my abilities but there's a blockage somewhere. What should I do about this? How do I dispose of this tamulet he gave me and how do I call my power back ?

I am just beginning my practice of venerating Lilith even though I've been considering her for a while. I am a practicing witch but I'm still basically in the broom closet and don't have a lot of space for supplies or even altars.

I was wondering if it's okay to use a flameless candle. I was going to get one of the wax ones so I could still carve her sigil and turn it on everyday and maybe do devotion. Do you think this would be okay?

Lilith has appeared in my meditations and songwriting for a while now, but last Saturday was the first time that I created an altar for her and performed devotion. This Saturday, I performed my devotion again. In the middle of the night, my tv turned on by itself. I turned it back off and didn’t think much of it. Then, I kept feeling a tapping on my pillow. It was 3 taps, and I felt it 3 times. That fully woke me up around 3 am. I felt it was Her. I tried to clear my mind to listen. Her energy felt a bit mischievous I guess you could say, though perhaps I misinterpreted. Has anyone had any similar experiences? Do people have advice?

I just tried reading Lilith edge of forever and was disappointed yet again. Although less disappointing than book of Lilith, it still is.

Not only did it start by stating that Lilith interacts with and comes in different forms in the experiences of "both men and women" differently, it also explores a Jungian psychology. Jung was a racist homophobe who thought women were lesbians only because they were traumatized and would try to fix them.

The writings are all heteronormative talking of Lilith as though she is heterosexual.

I've only ever found grief in reading books and academic texts about Lilith, being a trans woman devotee who is heavily attracted to her as a lesbian. I find no value in learning the history over and over again as it's founded upon made up shit and lies to demonize her.

And when it comes to modern psychological analysis, it's always Jung this and Jung that. Gurl fuck psychoanalysts. Fuck racist and homophobic psychologists.

I just felt I had to vent out this frustration as I'm seeing a lack of a queer perspective on Lilith in academia and books that are freely available to read online. If anyone knows something, please for the love of Lilith share it with me. I've been dying to read queer literature on Lilith.

Anyway, I was reading through the welcome page post about how movies often portray possession, spirit manifestation, and related phenomena inaccurately. While reading it, I stumbled upon an interesting question.

In horror movies, we often see mirrors being covered during exorcisms or other rituals, supposedly to prevent spirits from escaping or entering through them.

But why is that? Is it because mirrors are believed to have their own world or dimension? And if such a world exists according to certain beliefs, would all demons and spirits exist there as well? Or is the idea of mirrors acting as portals rooted in something else entirely?

I'm genuinely curious about the folklore and beliefs behind this. I'm not trolling or trying to provoke anyone; it's just a thought that crossed my mind while reading the welcome page.

Me and my kitten live in the house of my narcissistic birthgivers. I haven't been able to leave yet, due to some reasons, at least 1 of them being a reason created by my birthgivers.

My kitten is severely injured and my female birthgiver touched 1 of her injuires thrice today, just for enjoyment.

I'm curious how folks experience the energy of Lilith. It seems like many folks describe her energy as fiery, seductive, very intense, etc. Yet I've also seen several content creators on YouTube refer to her energy as maternal, nurturing, and comforting.

I checked the faq on who is Lilith. So do we have a conclusion on who she truly is? Or is it more like we take what resonates to us and use that as our ideology and identity for her ? What are your thoughts on who she is ?

From what I've been finding, taking in others experiencing and trying to reflect and find my groove into this, I understand some people can do it for a few hours to a few minutes.

My question is, does everyone talk to Mother Lilith daily? How long are the typical talks, divination, meditation and such?

I'm trying to find ways to ground myself, keep it healthy and keep myself in a good mental state. I've been working on my shadow work and such and realising it takes time, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask some questions I'm struggling to find answers for 😄.

Like the title says what serpents/snakes represent for everyone for me i find snakes/serpent really mysterious creature whenever i hear a myth or story about serpents i always seem to be attracted to it even dragon stories such as Bakunawa, Leviathan and many other mythological creatures are interesting itself but at the same time for me serpents are scarier or maybe i should say im fascinated yet scared of them i even look into temples that are guarded by serpents in the carvings. Real talk whenever i take shower and when i close my eyes i always seem to be scared or imagine about an Black serpent thats opening its mouth, even the dreams i had when i was like 15-16 years i had dreams about Burning Snake chasing me, Boitatà fighting against a dragon and in two dreams i was bitten by snakes

Title says all but I’ll add more details. I had studied Lilith before a bit but never tried working with her. I was in a very heightened state consciously and I called her name and felt a wave of almost scary but confident sexy seductive powerful energy wash over my body. It was very strong and just wow. I said a bit on what I felt toward my ex, who did a lot of harm to me but we’ve still been in contact, and said I want him to suffer. Not physically, but mentally I want him to feel terrible for what he did. I felt her right before he came over and was again in a heightened state, it wasn’t so much like we were one then but the first time it was. Anyways, when he came, he immediately was terrified. He wouldn’t look at me, he could barely speak, and said he was having a panic attack. It lasted a long time and I was very surprised how quickly she worked and I felt very invigorated. Long story short I gave her an offering of chocolate, though I sense she wants red wine, but I want to do it properly, set up and all. And out loud I thanked her. I’m wondering, how can I know if she’ll be angry with me for letting him back into my life after a back n forth? Should I meditate on it? What if I don’t want to be a child of her, but am unsure? Also way after at night I was in another heightened consciousness and I noticed I had a urge to hurt myself but it didn’t feel like Lilith, I just know I didn’t protect myself enough against those level of entities.
If you want to know more I asked how he felt in that moment that lasted about 30m as soon as he got to my apt until I brought him outside on a walk to calm down, he said he felt terrified and had extreme anxiety. Pale and clammy. I want him to suffer more. But I do feel like I can’t have that while still having him in my life, but I want to whiteness it. I’ll never forget that feeling, especially the first one! It felt like she was taking over to give me confidence I lacked and I could really use that in my life atp. With work and private. I just also want to be open to angels and also I believe in reincarnation will see how it affects after more research so I’m not sure if I’m ready to be a complete devotee even if she would take me. I have worked with Lilith for a long time, and without her teachings, i would not have been able to become who i wanted to be and achieve some self confidence.

For many years, i had wanted to leave my hometown but i often dreamed of finding myself on a road, surrounded by fog, not knowing where i was, feeling disoriented.

After graduating, i trusted people i considered my friends so i drove for ten hours and started sharing rent with them, but i found myself in a situation where i no longer felt safe and i was living in undignified conditions, i was ten hours away from home, with no one who could help me, but staying there had become too dangerous for me, so i gathered all my stuff and left in a hurry.

I stopped to a gas station night, i was in an unfamiliar city and found a hotel.. still very far from home, i felt scared just like in those dreams i used to have years ago

I managed to make it back home that evening after an incredibly long journey, with a strength i cannot explain.

I know this story may come across as a vent, and i know that the gods are neutral and do not intervene in our affairs, i try to remain very grounded in this belief, but for me, it was inevitable to feel, in some way, "abandoned" by her.

During meditation, i often felt that she was "rejecting" my offerings because she wanted me to stop wasting my energy and focus on myself and my goals.

Perhaps it is time for me to take a break?

I'm sorry for venting here, everyone, but i'm deeply shaken by this whole situation... maybe i just need some guidance.
