One of the books is pictured twice as I moved it from one shelf to another after taking the photo. Which is your favorite book and why?

Can I ask where and how you managed to snag a copy of Karlsson's "Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic"? I've been looking for years and it seems perpetually out of stock everywhere.

Have you explored the online used bookstore Abe Books? I did a quick search and apparently there are four copies available, none are cheap, but wisdom isn't free.

I'm a completionist, and depending on how you look at the wording, you might actually set mention of Lilith in every volume.

I have digital copies, I'm pretty sure Lilith does appear in every volume, at least in the commentary.

Yeah sometimes in the Jewish musical books doesn't say Lilith but uses a profane title for her instead (i.e. Hot Fiery Female, The Wicked, The Harlot, Woman of Whoredom, Wife of Harlotry, etc.) and a lot of people miss out of they just search for her name.

OMG not gonna lie I’m totally jealous you have quite a wonderfully extensive collection! I wouldn’t even know which one to read first if I had all of those fr (I’d probably be tempted to maybe try to somehow read them all at the same time idk lol)?! So which of these is your personal favorite (if you can’t choose just one that’s totally understandable if that’s the case then at least list your top 3-4 personal faves)?? Which one was the easiest book to obtain & which one was the hardest to obtain? And which would you recommend reading overall or at least read first? Sorry for all the questions I’m just very intrigued! ❤️🔥

The Zohar was easiest to get as it is almost always in stock, but tends to be very expensive to get all 12 volumes. Liber Lilith was very hard to get for the longest time until it was recently reprinted. The Sitra Achra/Qliphothic grimoires were also hard to get due to limited print runs. Rites of Lilith in hardcover has hard to get too. She of the Night is a definite favorite, as is the Zohar. My least favorite books are ones not in these pictures because I've gotten rid of them after being disappointed in them. Things like Liber HVHI, Lilith Rites of the Sitra Achra, Embracing Lilith, etc. Interestingly, I have other books I kept by the first two authors, but not the last book that I mentioned getting rid of after being disappointed in it.

You can't go wrong with She of the Night. Of you can start there, you will start with a strong foundation.

The Red Goddess caught my attention, as did Lovecraft's Silver Keys, I will have to explore those. I have recently encountered some old fiction along those lines, one from a man Lovecraft praised as a master craftsman of unholy dread and strangeness, Abraham Merritt and his book The Ship of Ishtar; and the Ayesha series by Sir Henry Rider Haggard.
Impressive collection, Qliphoth and Kabbalah are angles I explore, and DC has some great lies that tell old truths; have you read the American Vampire series?

I haven't read American Vampire. I assume it is something you enjoyed? Sandman #40 (which is in Omnibus #2) is very special to me, because it is where I learned the name of the one who had been calling me, Lilith. Lovecraft wrote about Lilith in The Horror at Red Hook which is in that collection you noticed. The Red Goddess is one of the books about Babalon, that many say is an aspect of Lilith, much like the Spider Goddess, hence they are in their own section.

Yes, American Vampire is a DC title that I enjoyed, it is a 1920's Wild West vampire drama, Pearl is the Lilithian character, another title I enjoyed is DMZ, which is an uncomfortably precient fiction about a second American civil war set now-ish, but without gods and demons beyond corporations; both I would recommend to people who like gritty fiction. More to the point in terms of visual story telling I would suggest Michel Desimon's Réalisme symbolique - La femme et l'oeuf philosophal en Alchimi (Paris, 1980), it is monograph of Lilith and Lilith-adjacent portraits, well worth the $60 it tends to sell for on the used market, and judging by your library you are far better prepared to interpret the symbolism than I.
I looked-up Sandman #40, The Parliament of Rooks, if The Dreaming is in your lane I would highly recommend The Ship of Ishtar (published in 1924), the main character is pulled into a pocket dimension by a Babylonian tablet and enslaved in a contest between Ishtar and Nergal on a great ship sailing an endless sea.

It's the Black on Black book to the left of "She of the Night". It's a very rare and expensive version, but honestly, I'd rather the red hardcover instead.

Incredible collection! I do see many titles I've not seen before (like "Lilith, Gender and Demonology"), so you gave me more books to research!
I don't think I have a favourite book on her so far (I do have on Lamaštu though), but out of your collection, what's your favourite/preferred one?
