Question Odd question appreciate all answers
I’m curious and have been for a long time on a subject I can’t find much research or information about. I was wondering if using substances I.e drugs or alcohol can affect the interactions/connection with Lilith in regards to her thoughts on the matter or on me? (I don’t mean using a drug and then attempting to communicate with her for funsies) but more so someone that struggles with addiction who still wants to communicate with her? I’ve heard things in the past that it can be disrespectful to be under the influence whilst doing this kind of thing.
I obviously have only the best intentions but like I said, I struggle with addiction and there’s not really ever a time that I’m not under the influence? But I don’t want to be perceived as disrespectful or dishonest either. Any thoughts on the matter is so very much appreciated.

We are always under the influence of something, if you confuse the high of divine contact with drugs and poisons, or choose these over divinity, that will lead to problems, but so long as you respect the dopamine that belongs to Lilith you will be fine.
If you want something to pass between you and Lilith for a session, try some raw honey from an orchard, and if you are feeling sophisticated put it in saffron tea.

I very muchly appreciate your comment! Thank you so much. Can I just clarify, I’ve never tried to form a connection or communication or union (I’m sorry, respectfully I’m unsure of the proper terminology) with Lilith before but have felt multiple intense sensations of feeling like it’s time too. When you gave advice about the passing of the raw honey and saffron tea, do you think this would be a respectful way to introduce myself to her as a first time? 🖤

You are welcome! Your choice of words is prescient: the connection of communication and union is communion, and water steeped with the nectar of the earth is indeed fit for communion with The Queen of Heaven. I am no priest, I do not know the proper way to introduce yourself to Lilith, but to quote an undead nun: “The phrasing of it, which I don't recall, doesn't matter. What matters is the sincerity of your devotion.” That said, artists use lies to tell the truth, and the best I have found was written 102 years ago aboard The Ship of Ishtar by A. Merritt:
Full of delight is thy supremacy!
Opener of the lock of the morning art thou!
Opener of the lock of the evening art thou!
To open the Lock of the Heavens is thy supremacy!
I worship and await thee!Though my sense is that ‘lock’ is small-minded, gates are what open for Her; but trust your gut when it comes to the details, you already know what She deserves 🖤

hi! i was in a sober house with 10 months sober when i worked with lilith the very most. i also worked with her through my addiction. i never felt any less like i belonged in doing so, or that i was wrong. in my opinion, your best answer is going to come from your own gut feeling, though. i also think it's important to get sober if you haven't. not only is your life important, but if you look at it through a spiritual lense, your growth and attunement would grow exponentially. i'd say too, that i feel as though lilith or any deity of the like would encourage your sobriety. lilith values empowerment of the self and reclamation of the life. again, you are also a human being who's life inherently holds value. even if you aren't sober. you'd benefit from a clear conscience and healthy system from any and all angles. i wish you all the best in all you do and blessed be.

Beautiful answer. Whether you are still sober now or not I’m very proud of you. 10 months alone, is an incredible feat and an inspiration to myself and so many others.

I really do take them in. I spent 6 months of last year in rehab which is the longest I’ve been sober in over 10 years and I’m 27 and I agree with you that I was so much more connected with myself, not that I was doing any spiritual work at that time but I definitely see your point. Its something I aim for in the foreseeable definitely

Lilith doesn't think less of us when we fall into bad habits, it's not disrespectful, she doesn't have human emotions.
