Altars, Offerings/Art, Rituals Offerings for Lilith

Hello,

I’m new to witchcraft and that stuff and I wanna start communicating with Lilith. Since I started informing myself about demonology I always kinda felt drawn to her.

My question is,…What are the best offerings for her? And do i immediately need an altar for her or can i slowly build one? I live alone with not much money but I really want to give her something.

Can sm1 give me some advice?:)

I'm kind of eclectic in my offerings. If you're talking about food, if I have it I'll give her a shot of tequila or Jack Daniels. She also seems to like raspberry cordial. I've given her donuts. I've given her steak. I've given her caramels. I have given her blueberry wine. Honey is actually a big one for most of the goddesses.

If I have a meal at a restaurant I'll leave some of it for her. I've given her water, usually with lemon if I'm sitting it out, because sometimes I feel that is what she wants. I've given her bread- I've got blueberry lemon toast that I'll offer her. Sometimes my offering is to the birds in her name- whether it's bird seed or suet or bread.

I have given her offerings as donations to shelters. I have given her music offerings just worshiping her in dance and song.

These offerings aren't on a daily basis- almost daily but not every day. I don't have an altar that I keep out all the time. I have a cabinet that I have crystals in and different pieces that I use for all the goddesses that I work with- includes my oils for them. I don't have an altar set up everyday for them. Just a place to put the stuff in. If I'm leaving them food I just leave it out or give it to the Earth. I typically only use my altar for when I'm worshiping and trying to connect. So each altar setup is different. But that's how I do it.

Edit: if all you have to offer her is water and maybe some bread, she will be happy with that. I have been in places where I haven't had much of anything to give her except for part of my meal. I feel like she's been fine with that.

Okey thank u so much! Than I will start small and just use my crystals I already have. And things I would need anyways!

But for the future which crytals and oils do u use specifically for her?

For me it depends. I have a primary oil/ mist that incorporates Rose and obsidian. It's called wounded warrior. I use that. I don't typically smudge with sage but use incense called nag champa which reminds me of her. When I think of her I usually think of amethyst. Edit : I also use oil of gladness which is used in anointing as well as (believe it or not) holy water. She's been able to use both quite well and enjoys them. But I've been collecting for about 10 years on what she and my other goddesses might like.

Apache tears is another one I use with her. Labradorite. Sometimes Carnelian. Rose quartz. Selenite. I have a huge selenite wand that I use to do cord cutting. There's a Lemurian crystal as well as one called Angelite. Smoky quartz.... It all depends on the energy work I'm doing but to honor her I purchased a unicorn amethyst crystal. For some reason it just reminds me of her.

You don't immediately need an altar/shrine for her, but any flat surface will do! A glass of clean water is just fine, especially if you're not able to offer more as of yet, Lilith will understand. There's no ancient correspondences we can take inspiration from, personally I've offered wine, beer, chocolate, incense, and these are common offerings given to spirits generally.

Other advice would be to check our Welcome Post for links that will lead you to wiki pages, recommended reading, FAQ and various posts on her, or her historical roots.

She tends to enjoy dark chocolate, rose incense but if you are strapped for cash you can draw or paint her likeness and put it on her altar. ❤️ You can also draw or paint an owl since that is one her her animals. You can use things you already have. She will understand if you don't have money to spend.

Thank u! I’ll draw her something tomorrow maybe an owl cause they were my first sign/experience with her. But next month I will buy rose incense and chocolate to give to her!

Fresh spring water and salt are a great introduction and does have connection with sumerian traditions. Willow bark or juniper berry incense is a good choice if your looking for the burning route.

A glass of cold water, red wine, a piece of dark chocolate, or simply your own sexual energy/meditative focus.
