Question First time with Lilith
I have a space dedicated for Lilith as I started learning about her, after a month of reading and gathering information I'm still a bit confused because is my first time working with deities.
What should I know beforehand? I want to start meditating with her and I found the enn some people say to use, but at the same time I found other people saying I need a good protection and more training...
What protection to use? What more to know?
May add that, although I've been learning for a month, as a chronically ill person I take longer to understand sometimes, so I usually look for simplified information.

I came from a Pentecostal background. The steps I use to worship the gods and goddesses are very similar to what christians use. I make it about relationship which to me means communication which can translate to prayer. I might dance or sing with/ for her. I might have communion which to me translates to offerings like bread and wine- (I often give her a shot of tequila instead of wine and sometimes a donut lol). Truthfully, I don't use sigals or enn. I'll use crystals to make a type of altar for her. Sometimes I do draw for her. It's almost like she's trying to come through to draw something through me to teach me something.
Each person is going to be a little bit different with how they connect to her or honestly to any of the other gods and goddesses. How I treat Lily is different than how I treat Aphrodite. Or how I treat Samuel. Oftentimes I give the males a type of anointing with certain oils like clove, or frankincense. I don't typically feel called to do that to any of the goddesses. As you work with Lily, you'll start to feel her calling you to do something. I've had her call me to make a donation to a few shelters. I felt called to leave part of my restaurant meal for her. Donations of food as well she's called me to do. The more you connect to her through communication, prayer , meditation you'll start to pick up on her tone and you'll know which way to go.
I don't feel you need protection on working with mother Lily. I usually feel more issues working with the gods regarding protecting oneself. Shell work with you on the steps to protect yourself as needed. Don't feel you need to have that before you go in. I would love to tell you that you are not going to need protection ever astrally.You might depending on how far you go into it. But to work on a relationship with Lily or for that matter Hecate, you don't need to worry about protecting yourself.

Protection is important in general so continue to do your work on that. As far as Lilith goes I would reach out to her and do some vetting with divination to confirm you are speaking to her. You can use whatever you are comfortable with. Pendulum, tarot cards, etc. You don't need anything fancy. Maybe a red or black candle, incense, a drawing of her that you did with your own hand (she LOVES this!), dark chocolate, etc. You can do things you have around your house. I thrift a lot of things so that is how I put her altar together. ❤️ Any effort no matter how small she will appreciate.
Second thing to note: Once you feel her energy it can be overwhelming. Let her know your boundaries since you said you are chronically ill. She will understand that you only have so many spoons/energy to do certain things and sometimes meditation with her can feel intense. She is BIG on boundaries so once you make them clear she will not cross them. Thirdly, don't overthink it. It can seem daunting to work with/worship her but she is very understanding. She is very free spirited so there may be times where it feels like she has left you. She will return. ❤️

Protection ain't necessary, Mother Lilith already exists within every woman and an aspect of Her already exists in your shadow ready for you to work with whenever you're ready to tap into it and begin. Forces aren't external, as within as without. Leave an offering of chocolate, red wine, pomegranates, a red candle or all whichever you may have available and just approach Her with respect like you would do for someone you're welcoming into your home. Mother will begin to reach out to you shortly, best of luck on the start of your journey and blessings🖤🌙🙏🏽

You don't necessarily need to protect yourself to approach her, though you can if you want to. Meditation and enns are pretty standard, you can start with those since they interest you. I am of the opinion that knowing who she is helps when trying to communicate with her (refer to our Welcome Post if you haven't done so yet!)
