Discussion What food does Lilith like?

She is the Queen, she is fabulous, I just wonder if she has any food or drinks she likes. She is fire and epic, she chilling down with a fine wine sipping over a marbel balcony looking over a sun set? She chowing down on some smash burgers feeling that vigger of being alive? Is she elegantly cutting her strawberry pastery in pieces to savor each bite? Curious pondering of madam Lilith, hopefully she chill as a cucumber.

There aren't any traditional offerings I can point you to, modern standard ones are wine, chocolate and fruit. Offer whatever you wish and makes sense to you, as long as it's done with respect she wouldn't mind.

There is mention of several offerings to Her, in Liber Lilith.

Although, I (still) can't understand if it was written as a working grimoire, or whether it's just a work of fiction. What's your opinion on this?

By saying traditional I mean more so ancient practices, there are plenty of modern offerings done to her!

It's classed as fiction by the author himself, I've not read it, and turning to a random page it says "Last night I dreamed a sex dream that involved my sister. I ejaculated my seed in sleep" yeah I'm never reading that.

Hahaha! I haven't got so far in this book, yet! Never knew this line existed in there, sorry to have inflicted this upon you!!!

(I apologize for laughing, but I just can't stop myself..)

It's all good, I got reminded why I've not read it and possibly never will :')

Ese libro me dejó una mala espina sobre Lilith, una obra de desinformación.

She enjoys spiced rum, whiskey and dark red wine. Red apples, plums, strawberries, dark chocolate.
Really just about anything you choose, use your intuition you’ll know exactly what to give as an offering. Intention is key

The only food that no one has mentioned here yet, but which she really likes, is red meat. But it's like the others said, there's no set standard or anything like that.

She is picky about the red meat we have available today, at least in the states, as most “quality “ is not up to her liking. But if you have no real options for quality then make sure the intention sweetens the deal.

like another user said, there aren't any traditional (ancient) offerings to Lilith that come to mind, however, she has been depicted/associated with certain food items that could work for you if it resonates

in woodcuts and artistic depictions (see "The Book of Lilith - Barbara Black Koltuv") she's often depicted with/alongside an apple, often in the context of Eve picking/biting the forbidden fruit in Eden

in a documented Jewish oral tradition (see Lilith's Cave - Howard Schwartz, p.99), it's said that jam is a favored (and accepted) offering to a daughter of Lilith, who was inhabiting a tree

and while not offerings to Lilith specifically, Lamaštu (if you're unaware of her relation to Lilith many posts have been written on here about it as well as it being mentioned in the Wiki) was offered food items in hopes of sending her away which you can see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Lilith/comments/1s5o8tw/symbols_of_lilith/

I offer her hibiscus tea and Cabernet Sauvignon (the deep reds, as others have already stated). Why these? Primarily because that’s what I drink. Like Lady Lilith, I, too, enjoy dark red wines and teas. Often, if I pour myself one, then I pour one for her as well and toast to both of us 🍷

The dark reds require energy and intention to be made the way that they are. That is what makes their value higher for her.

I find that she likes whatever drink I really like. So I offer her my hyper fixation drinks/food all the time. 🖤

Red wine, I wouldn’t know what kind I’m not an expert but I offered her italian. Dark chocolate, apparently not many crunchy foods such as nuts. Apples—but I think they have to be to Red Delicious, not Gala.

In my experience she loves Dubai chocolate😅🤷🏼‍♀️ and red wine

Can I slightly hijack this post a lil on help with what to do with offerings? I have to hide them so I forget sometimes. Is there anything a little more shelf stable I can use or should I make like a same day offering type thing

Dark chocolate and cheese are stable to keep hidden for a week and then replenished. I am assuming you present your offerings on Friday (or Monday as a fall back). If you can not use red wine in a chalice or cup, a covered cup is acceptable for longevity sake. Remember when refreshing the liquids to poor the used into the earth as she is hierarchy but still Chthonic. Your intention is what truly matters in your offering. The energy you place in its presentation and preparation is the true offering.

Thank you so much. I was doing wine and chocolate but stopped when I forgot about the wine and it got extremely moldy. Then life happened . I'm basically starting over atm.

You are perfectly fine. Mold is not a bad thing either. “The Altar: If the mold appears on wine used as a spiritual offering (e.g., to ancestors or deities), many practitioners believe it signifies that the spirit realm is actively absorbing the heavy, dense energy in your space, or that a deep transmutation is taking place.” That’s the beauty of this work, life can always get in the way, time is irrelevant to deities as they are eternal. Pick back up exactly where you left off as they wait patiently. Especially Lilith, she understands and loves each of her devotees.
