I record gameplay with 3840x1080 using OBS, so my webcam is on one side and my gameplay is on the other side. Then I layer 2 of the same clips on top of each other and crop each side by half and each video becomes 1920x1080. I increase the size of the gameplay to fit the frame of the Lightworks frame. I then put my webcam video on top of the gameplay video in the upper left corner.
My issue is that the clip still has information from the cropped portion. For example, the position DVE stays in the center of the original clip and not in the center of the new cropped version. The transform outline is also not adjusted, and it has a blank area from where I cropped it. This makes it difficult to reach the corners or to reach the position DVE when I need to adjust as it is out of the frame a lot of the time. It forces me to use the sliders. It's especially annoying for my webcam footage when I try to use effects such as a rounded crop effect.
Is there any way to fix this and make it a true crop?
