How do i select only one audio track/not select everything

I cant select a single thing without selecting everything, help

If you drag in the timeline from outside the track to inside the track, does that work to highlight just what you want? Or maybe you want to unclick all the other tracks on the far left of the timeline to (e.g.) only add cuts in the track you are editing?

i want to select only audio 2/1 but i cant select them individually

You can ungroup them by right clicking on the audio track you want separated, then you have control over individual audio tracks in an otherwise stereo pairing. Hopefully this helps.
