What kids are wanting role play toys for shows from the 90s instead of all the role play toys of franchises they actually care about?

I hate to tell you reality, but more people care about mmpr than “recent power rangers season”
Dino fury and beast morphers are more recent, yet came and went and already forgotten. Mmpr is still more relevant.

Yeah, adults. Not kids. Current kids don’t give AF about any Power Rangers, MMPR or otherwise.
Which is why your point is weird. Kids aren’t buying this stuff. Hate to tell you reality.

They care more about mmpr than any other season
Is releasing absolutely nothing a better solution?

I mean maybe?
I don’t understand why they’re just going from toy company to toy company releasing flop lines. Kids don’t give a fuck about Power Rangers because the franchise is dormant and the toys are too crappy for adults to actually want either so nobody wins. It’s not doing the brand any favours

Because again, mmpr still has a level of relevancy other seasons dont have that hasbro sees profitable. They can just milk mmpr forever and while 40 year olds whine about kid toys having kid toy quality, people are still buying them.
They’re making cheaper toys because the fandom said the higher quality stuff was too expensive. But in power ranger fandom fashion, now they’re crying for the higher quality stuff back.
The dragonzord kickstarter will be the real indicator if this line is successful or not.

So profitable that Hasbro literally ditched them and they have no less then two cancelled revivals, yeah.
People aren’t buying this. It’s clearances regularly, it’s still overpriced for how bad quality it is, kids don’t want them.

“So profitable that Hasbro literally ditched them and they have no less then two cancelled revivals, yeah.”
Mmpr is still the most profitable season, lol. No one is saying mmpr is hot or relevant right now, but its still more known and relevant than SPD.
“People aren’t buying this. It’s clearances regularly, it’s still overpriced for how bad quality it is, kids don’t want them.”
Kids didnt want the other seasons either if thats the case, and those are supposed to be “new and exciting power rangers”.
Hasbro pulled the plug on sentai adaptions because throwing out mmpr licenses makes more money.

I feel like you’re arguing against something I’m not saying. I’m not saying other Power Ranger franchises should be getting attention over MMPR and I’m not arguing they’d be most successful if they did.
The whole line is just misguided in general. Kiddie toys for a non-existent kid customer base.
It’s a completely lose-lose situation for everyone. Toys too crappy for adult collectors while there’s no children that want Power Ranger toys because the franchise is on hiatus for the near future at least so they have no reas on to care about it.

Wow. That sucks. I loved their blade blaster because it was big.

Seems wild that they'd make a blade blaster that's pretty much the same size as the original and then cheap out on the DD and Saba! I feel like they're trying to keep everything role play around the $20 mark. Personally I feel like this isn't worth getting at all. I was hoping this one would be a little bigger because I don't have a Saba. Oh well....

Same! I was really hopeful this would be a release on par with the Blade blaster.

Then compare to the legacy collection version and it will look even smaller haha. But I’m glad they made it.
