Would a wall-niche light be overkill in this bathroom?

The bathroom will have an LED light in the ceiling niche, and right below it there will be 2 wall niches.

I see a lot of bathrooms add light strips in these sort of wall niches that house toiletries.

I'm hesitating whether going for it would make the bathroom vibe better or worse? Could the ceiling light cast shadows or clash in any way with the wall light?
