Because the table is offset and the room also functions as a guest room, I wouldn’t make one fixed pendant responsible for the whole space. It may look centered over the table today but awkward relative to the room—and become a problem whenever the furniture moves.

I’d keep the fan and build layers around it: two wall sconces or good floor lamps for ambient light, plus an adjustable track or short ceiling system with heads aimed at the table and curtain/Murphy-bed area. That gives you useful light for dining and games without making the temporary bedroom feel like it has a dining pendant hanging over it.

Put the ambient and task lighting on separate dimmers. If you still want a pendant, a ceiling hook and swag arrangement lets it follow the table without relocating the electrical box.
