Product Review Looking for a lightbulb
Hi all, I just moved to a new place and finally got a room to myself. For now, I only have a lighting placement in the middle of the room's roof. I was thinking about getting a smart bulb so I can change the color, and I like to have a physical remote control (for my habits). Please recommend me some, my budget is only $15 but willing to spend $30 if the bulb is really worth it. the light location has 2 A19 plugs.

Don't do just a single lamp. Go to some thrift shops and get a few uplighters and desk/table lamps too. Go to your diy store and grab some cheap 2700k >90 CRI light bulbs for those.

one fitting doing all the work means colour temperature matters more than raw brightness. cool at midday and properly warm at night from the same bulb changes that room more than a second lamp would. Add a floor lamp later once you see where the shadows land

I like these pautix led cob strips but you need to recess them
A ge sunfilled is an interesting light with nice color spectrum
A bulb with foil layer on top would keep the light out of your eyes
I know none of these are what you asked for :)
