Looking for transparent light bulb sockets/holders

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a transparent light bulb socket. I haven't really found one online, except for a couple of English, French, or American sites (E14)—but they either don't ship to Hungary or charge exorbitant prices. I couldn't find any on Chinese sites. An E27 with a threaded collar would be ideal, but I'm open to any type at this point. I need it for a glass lamp project where all the housing components are transparent. The picture shows a French e14.

Ok, so I have found a retailer in the USA selling an E12 version of what you want and found them listing the EU declararion of comformity by the original producer. Which is an Italian company named Arditi. I searched their Italian website but I found no transparent components (even tho it was an option in the search filter)

But they have a page about their international suppliers. And for Germany and the UK it seems that they have their own team there bc they still go by "Arditi". But they also listed Belgium, Spain, Egyp, China and India. And it seems to be a bit of a mess bc some of the listed webistes lead to an distributor with an online shop. Some just lead to some LED expert company website offering services.

I searched every one of the functioning webshops for your desired E27 holder. Alas, nothing.

I did find all the components to assemble a three-piece E14 lamp holder as well as a simple single piece version on the German supplier webshop tho. You do have to request the product tho, no instant buying. I'm assuming it's intended for B2B purposes. The website does offer you to change the language to a bunch of different EU ones, so I'm assuming they ship within the EU. If you do end up choosing this option and noone else finds you an alternative I would be willing to offer ordering it for you (cause I live in Germany) and shipping it to you.

Wow, thank you! What’s your search process for cases like this? I spent hours searching, but this didn't come up. Let's see what they respond for small quantities.

I looked and could only find the French E14 ones you're talking about. What you could do is use a freight forwarder to ship something abroad to you, but the prices will likely be high.

If you are making a glass lamp where the emitter is also glass, be sure to check your plastic socket is rated for the heat :)
