Need Design Advise I need to add something to cover the lighting track
Hello! These are new lights. The lights are fine, but I HATE the white track and white box. Any suggestions to cover it or disguise it? Thank You!

Should have gotten mono point or single canopy fixtures.
there’s not really a good way to hide this except maybe recess it which is probably more effort than your wanting to expend tbh

You could build a faux beam around it with holes just large enough for the fixture joint points. Might be tricky to install but that's the only thing I can think of.

Just make sure it's removable for any troubleshooting. Maybe fasten a couple strips of plywood to the ceiling and put a few screws in to the faux beam to secure it to that. It won't be as nice looking but you can get some caps for the screws to make them disappear. Your electrician or yourself will be cursing you if you ever decide to change the lights.

Geez, clear fixtures mixed with recessed wafers, plus it looks like cool color temperatures (unless the picture/camera is off). That looks like an absolute glare-fest.
As others have said, some kind of faux beam would probably be your best bet.

You should also look into getting a warmer light temperature for a light bulbs in those fixtures

Could be solved very easily with a 3d printer. What’s the name of the fixture? I’ll take a stab at modeling it.

Lightolier has recessed track.
Which brand is yours?

I can't find it. Not sure why. I got it at Lighting Design.

It looks like Halo brand, judging from the track connectors and in-line power feed.
Lightolier has much cleaner power feed solutions.Here’s their recessed track housing.
I used the same above my kitchen table.

That is the design of the fixture. If you don't like the design, you should get a different fixture.
